We found UBS analyst confirming that HTC “will ship about 50,000 cellphones running on a mobile operating system made by the Mountain View, California-based search giant by the end of this year.” As Benjamin Schachter, analyst, says, the first batch wouldn’t “be for sale”, developers-only.

So, maybe Google will be aiming on software, not the phone itself. And mabe we should expect some third party to take part in hard- or software develompent, because Google phone promises to be delicious only by it’s name. All these are of course rumors, though Google might reveal more on it’s Oct. 24 event for analysts.
