Yesterday, November 12 Google revealed SDK for it’s mobile devices operation system, Android.




Well, at last, that very expected Motorola Q9h is on sale from November 2nd for a  price of $200 (might be temporary)

  • Windows Mobile 6
  • HSDPA (not sure yet if it’s 3.6Mbps)
  • GPS with TeleNav, 2 megapixel camera
  • Good 5, Express Mail, the standard software package

Another nudge to iPhone. Time named iPhone the “Invention of the year” for five reasons.

1. The iPhone is pretty

2. It’s touchy-feely

3. It will make other phones better

4. It’s not a phone, it’s a platform

5. It is but the ghost of iPhones yet to come

When all that is left from the mankind would be a capsule with Google, E.T. would think that iPhone is a term for all phones. Like that Xerox thing.



Oh, and by the way, here is a sweet company to our luxury pack. These are iPhones, encrusted with hundreds of diamonds. The creator of this mod, Amosu, is known for loading up mobile phones with precious gems and metals. This precious iPhone has 420 diamonds (5.65 carats), and can be set in 18-karat white or yellow gold.

Last week it was Hello Kitty phone. This week it’s finally 3G phone with a Hello Kitty and Snoppy theme. The Toshiba 815T will feature 7 panels each for Hello Kitty and Snoopy. The phone comes with Hello Kitty bag, cell phone strap and jewel box same is the case with Snoopy. The phone comes preloaded with themed wallpapers, screensavers, ringtones etc. The Toshiba 815T has a 2.4 inch screen, HSDPA for high speed downloads and Felica for making wireless payments. With face recognition you can be assured that your secrets will never be out as the phone can be unlocked only by you.

Japan only. Why? Why? It looks like a total dream thing to me.



T-911 a 3G slider with TV tuner with recording capabilities. Crosp 3 inch display sports a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and has protective glass. Other features include Bluetooth, TV out, 3 Megapixel camera, Felica, Media player, GPS and Micro SD card slot.

The Toshiba T-911 measures 51×113×18.6mm and weighs 141 grams. It will be available in white, gold, brown and pink.

The Samsung Adidas Phone F110 has features that will suite the sports inclined people more than standart nerds. Like heartbeat monitor, step counter, and other sports applications . It has GPRS/EDGE features a 2″ screen, a 2-megapixel camera, and a FM radio tuner. It also has and MP3 player function and some expansion slot.

This neat and sporty slider releases next month, but there is no word on the pricing yet. we’ll keep you informed.

The Symbian Smartphone Show brings us not only demonstration of Nokia S60 Touch Interface, but also Samsung’s i550 GPS smartphone.. The i550 runs on the Symbian OS and is Samsung’s first GPS navigator equipped smartphone. It has a candy bar-style handset based on Symbian S60 3rd Edition, so plenty of downloads available for personalization. The specs include HSDPA connectivity; full web browsing, 128MB of RAM, 2.6-inch LD screen, 3.2-megapixel camera with video editing, 150MB of storage and an FM radio.

The Samsung i550 GPS smartphone will be out from November 2007, no word on pricing.


The best way for your phone to be noticed is to cover it in diamonds. Then maybe some crazy billionaire will buy the gadget nobody ever heard of. This Connecty phone was showcased at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair. Pricing and availability of the Connecty is not known yet.
