Another nudge to iPhone. Time named iPhone the “Invention of the year” for five reasons.

1. The iPhone is pretty

2. It’s touchy-feely

3. It will make other phones better

4. It’s not a phone, it’s a platform

5. It is but the ghost of iPhones yet to come

When all that is left from the mankind would be a capsule with Google, E.T. would think that iPhone is a term for all phones. Like that Xerox thing.

Oh, and by the way, here is a sweet company to our luxury pack. These are iPhones, encrusted with hundreds of diamonds. The creator of this mod, Amosu, is known for loading up mobile phones with precious gems and metals. This precious iPhone has 420 diamonds (5.65 carats), and can be set in 18-karat white or yellow gold.

Seems like Canon recalls it’s top DSLR 1D Mark III from shelves in response to the autofocus trouble. On October 25th, Canon sent a letter ro all dealers, stating that they have “decided to stop shipment of all EOS-1D Mark III. We would therefore like to collect all unsold EOS-1D Mark III units from your stock.” A shipping recommencement date is promised at a later time.

This new  delivers superior image quality approaching that of an LCD TV thanks to a high contrast ratio of 2000:1, wide viewing angle of 176°, and fast response speed of 8 ms, which are among the highest levels in the industry.

Sharp Mobile Advanced Super View LCD will be exhibited at FPD International 2007 to be held at Pacifico Yokohama on October 24 to 26.
